In November 2006, Sabrina left her home country Brazil for a work exchange program while in College. She had only $200 in her pocket and could barely speak English. After those three months, she fell in love with the American culture and had a crucial decision: go back to brazil or stay.

She ended up staying! In 15 years, while she worked to improve her fluency, she held many roles in large and small corporations, and at the end of it all, there was one thing that always made her feel disconnected from almost every single one, and in her own words:

"I never felt appreciated and more like just another number."

And so, when the opportunity arose, she decided to venture independently. In 2021 she took a leap of faith and sold her first home to fund Twine, a full-service gifting company whose mission is to help companies bridge connections with their clients and employees through the art of gifting.
